The
FFF is going to make a detour on March 29th and 30th! Together with the
YFM and Kimchi, the Food Film Festival will be set up in miniature in
the old Volkskrant building on the Wibaustraat in Amsterdam.
We are excited to announce that the Food Film Festival will have her very own competition. Something of what we have wished for for a long time. Read more about the various prizes and awards we may present for the best food films of the year.
At Food Film Festival headquarters, we are working really hard on our program. Meanwhile, we would like to present our first documentary. Johannes' Kitchen (Dutch titel: De keuken van Johannes) is a portrait of a very beloved restaurant critic who passed away last year.
After three fantastic, sold-out editions, the Food Film Festival has outgrown its base at Amsterdam’s Studio/K cinema. Time for a new location and a new date. The fourth edition of the festival will take place at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam on 9, 10 and 11 May.
A new year, new artwork! Food inspires everyone. It’s not only chefs and consumers who are moved to greatness after seeing and tasting food; artists and designers also let their imaginations run wild.
Proving that food inspires, a brilliant plan was hatched following visits to food film festivals in Madrid, Liverpool and Dubrovnik. In an effort to support and learn from each other, we are currently working to establish the international Food Film Network (FFN).
