The FFF Restaurant is known for its high standards and we’ve once again assembled a stellar team to cook for you. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, our chefs – led by a gastronomic star – are here to spoil and surprise you.
 
Joris Bijdendijk 
For the fourth year in a row, Joris will be heading up the FFF kitchen. As culinary commander, he is responsible for the quality – and you can be sure it’s high. In November Joris was awarded his first Michelin star at restaurant Bridges in Amsterdam’s five-star hotel The Grand. We can now say truthfully and with immense pride that we have a star chef in the kitchen.
 
Samuel Levie
Another familiar face in the FFF kitchen. Samuel has created the menu with Joris since the festival’s first edition. He is also our culinary conscience, ensuring that all the ingredients used are in line with FFF’s vision of being good, clean and fair. As the founder of the Youth Food Movement (YFM), sausage maker Brandt & Levie and an experienced cook himself, it’s safe to say that the menu is in good hands.
 
Ard Muntjewerf
Ard is responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant. He has also created the wine list in consultation with the chefs. As a YFM board member and experienced sommelier (including at restaurant Merkelbach and The Lobby), he is the ideal person for this high-pressure job.
 
Dionne Zijl
Dionne is our food coordinator. She ensures that only the best products are used in the kitchen, the onsite cooking facilities are top notch (a job in itself) and the best chefs are invited to the festival to cook for you. Dionne also has several years of experience in the FFF kitchen herself.
