Food Trucks
Meals on wheels, driving kitchens or food trucks: whatever you call them, even in Holland good street food is on the rise. During the FFF, we have a cheerful selection of mobile caterers in front of Studio/K. These food trucks have been selected by The Food Line-Up, a company which aims to replace unhealthy festival food with healthier alternatives: tasty snacks, made by artisans instead of fast food.
There are plenty initiatives like this, but you first have to find them. The Food Line-Up has selected the best and most original trucks for the FFF. This means no indefinable fried rubbish, but responsible snacks. During the festival, these colorful trucks will present you with surprisingly good food in front of Studio/K.
Opening times are 13.00 to 22.00 on Friday, 11.00 to 22.00 on Saturday and 11.00 to 19.00 on Sunday. The line-up is as follows:
Kofte Kanto Semih works overtime in his trailer to serve you his delicious Turkish Koftes. Take a look at his mustache, it grows day after day! He grills his small, spicy burgers a la minute and enriches his snack with tomato, onions and sumac. An authentic street snack from Istanbul. |
Buskruid Jessica cooks the best soups in her bus, and her ingredients are crooked vegetables. She is inspired by the season, and cooks live. Extremely sustainable! Secretly, we like her beet-rhubarb soup the most, but her pure tomato soup is a killer choice as well. |
Hier en daar Care for a slow coffee or the perfect espresso? At Hier en Daar, you will drink sustainable and green coffee and thee with home-baked deliciousness. Chris and Laura are true coffeeconnaisseurs and they select their products from the best and most special suppliers. *Slurp Slurp* |
Old Scuola If making delicious pizza's is really as easy as Old Scuola makes us believe, why then is it so that not all pizza's are like Old Scuola's?Pizzabakers Marco and Daniel bake only real (as in "is legit") with the very best and most pure ingredients in their woodoven. These prodigious pizzaiolo's don't sacrifice their ideals, and make baking pizza's a show worth watching. |
Keuken van het Ongewenst Dier Kitchen of the Undesired Animal cooks with animals which we normally do not like to eat. Nevertheless, these animals are part of the daily menu in other countries, although it might take us some time to get used to it. Luckily, the KVHOD changes these incourant animals into super tasty snacks with funny names: try the My Little Pony Burgers (made of horsemeat) or a croquette made of Schipholgoose. |
Dapp Bio Food This fried-chips-bike is a "bull's eye". Roderick selects his own bio potatoes at the farmer's, cuts them while biking, and fries them in coconut-oil (tastier and healthier!). After that, he will serve them - fresher is not possible - to you with home-made mayonaise and the best pepper and salt. Cool craftsmanship! |
