CALL FOR ENTRIES: FFF 2013

Het Food Film Festival Amsterdam is alweer op weg naar haar 3e editie. In maart 2013 worden weer de beste, leukste en mooiste films over eten vertoond. Daarom zijn we op zoek naar alle films over eten en roepen we filmmakers, distributeurs, festival en film - en foodlovers op hun inzending in te sturen!

Het Food Film Festival wil de liefde voor eten overbrengen en tegelijkertijd de problemen van het huidige voedselsysteem aankaarten. Dat gebeurt niet alleen door het vertonen van films, maar ook door het aanbieden van een uitgebreid programma van debatten en workshops, feest, markt en een eigen festivalrestaurant. De eerste twee edities van het Food Film Festival waren een enorm succes met in totaal ruim 8000 bezoekers. Het festival is een initiatief van de Youth Food Movement, dat gelieerd is aan de internationale Slow Food beweging. Kijk hier voor de programmering van 2011 en hier voor het programma van 2012.

Ken je een geschikte film? Neem dan contact op en stuur de film voor 15 december 2012 naar entries@foodfilmfestival.nl. Inzenden kan in verschillende categorieën: documentaire, speelfilm en kort/animatie. Je kan de film digitaal insturen of fysiek via onderstaand adres. Bekijk goed de technische voorwaarden voordat je een film instuurt. Het festival zal plaatsvinden op 22-23-24 Maart 2013 in Studio/K Amsterdam. In januari 2013 worden alle inzendingen op de hoogte gebracht van de selectie.

Language / all films should be either English spoken or subtitled

Format / film should be available on DigiBeta, HD Cam or High Definition (HD) via server and available for screening during the festival weekend

The Food Film Festival in Amsterdam is on its way to its third edition. In March 2013 the Food Film Festival will again show a selection of the best foodfilms that are around. The Food Film Festival is therefore looking for all films on food and is opening a call for entries for filmmakers, distributors, filmfestivals and filmlovers around the world.

The Food Film Festival wants to convey the love for food and at the same time it wants to denounce the many problems related to our current day food system. Next to film and documentary, the festival hosts an extensive program of debates, workshops, lecturers, music and food. The Food Film Festival is about everything related to food and is an initiative of the Youth Food Movement, an organisation linked to the international Slow Food Movement.

Do you know a tasty film? Have you made one yourself? Or do you distribute some delicious movies? Get in touch with the Food Film Festival and

maybe your entry gets selected for the third edition of the Food Film Festival in Amsterdam. The festival will take place in the weekend of 22-23-24 March 2013 in Studio/K Amsterdam. For the 2011 and 2012 program have a look at our website.

You can send in your suggestions till the 15th of December 2012. You can send in your film in different categories: documentary, feature and short/animation. You can send in films digitally through entries@foodfilmfestival.nl or analogous to the address you can find below here. All entries will be contacted in January 2013 about the selection.
